The Option

Meanwhile, Kolkata Knight Riders have not yet announced any replacement for fast bowler Harshit Rana, who has represented India in all three formats of the game at the international level, as there is a feeling in the team that there is no suitable Indian replacement for Harshit.

The News

Another important replacement before the start of the news season happens to be regarding its schedule. According to Cricbuzz, the BCCI has brought to the notice of teams that the announcement of the complete schedule will take three to four days.

The Reason

The phase-wise announcement of IPL schedule is due to the announcement of election dates in states where IPL matches are scheduled to be held, like Assam, West Bengal and Tamil Nadu and with the dates out, BCCI is in the process of finalising the schedule for the remaining 54 games.
