IND vs NZ: The Performance
The New Zealand middle-order batter scored his fourth ODI century against India, all of which have come in the last five matches against the Men in Blue. Mitchell accumulated over 300 runs, 352 runs to be precise, in the three matches and won the player of the series award.
To add to it, Mitchel also captained the side in the last ODI after Michael Bracewell went off the field having picked up a minor calf injury, as he has been ruled out of the first three T20Is against the same opposition.
Mitchell is now only behind AB de Villiers when it comes to most ODI centuries against India in India, who scored five centuries during his illustrious career.

Virat Kohli, on the other hand, has slipped to number two in the ranking despite putting in a valiant effort in the same match with a fighting innings of 124 runs.
This is the second instance of Mitchell claiming the number one spot, having done so for a brief period in November last year before he was overtaken by former Indian captain Rohit Sharma.
